Cloud Computing - Why it matters - Simon Wardley

Understanding "Cloud Computing" has recently become a personal quest of mine during my down time (scarce as it is while nurturing a start-up and newborn at the same time). However, my quest has turned nearly quixotic due to my compulsive need to understand things through concise, formulated definitions. But as Simon Wardley so cleverly presented at OSCON two weeks ago, it is hardly about understanding what Cloud Computing is, but rather what Cloud Computing represents as a "disruptive transformation....towards a service base economy driven by a set of economical, cultural, technological conditions." Whether you're interested in the cloud as much as me or simply appreciate great presentations, this is a must-see: Note: thanks to David Turner for bringing this video to my attention.
